After you place an order
Three facts we keep apart: that you paid us, where your filing is, and what the government record says.

I. Three separate facts
We keep these apart deliberately, and so should you. Collapsing them is how a carrier ends up believing they are registered when the filing has not been made.
- You paid us
- Confirmed by our receipt, immediately. It is a receipt for a service, and it is not a government document.
- Where your filing is
- Shown on your order page, which you reach from the link in that receipt. It moves as we work: received, in progress, completed.
- What the government record says
- A separate thing again, and the only one that matters to an inspector. When we have checked it, your order page shows what we saw and the date we looked.
II. If something needs a person
Occasionally an order cannot be priced automatically — an unusual fleet size, or a base state that needs confirming. You are told before any money is taken, the details you entered are kept, and we email you with the fee. Nothing is filed until you have paid.
Ready when you are
We read your company from the public federal register, so the form is mostly filled in before you start.
